Life of Pi Review

Its a story based on a book “Life of Pi” which is published on 2001 by Yann Martel. This is very interesting movie by looking at its name itself. Pi (“π”) which is the ratio of the circle’s circumference to its diameter. This story is based on the boy who lives in India at Pondicherry with his family. The name of the boy itself a amazing story, as he also called as “Piscine” by which is usually match with the similar word “peeing” in India.

The first half hour and so is quite story telling and a flashback of the Pi’s childhood where his father has a zoo to handle where a Bengal tiger lives with the wrongly named as “Richard Parker”. The actor Irfan Khan has played the rolled of married Pi Patel who tells his story of big adventurous journey in the sea. Tabu has played a good roll of a mother. Very interesting part of his life when in childhood he come across with many religions of India and started following them all.

Movie comes in life when the real journey start’s when his family decide to leave India. Travelling in a ship with all the zoo animals which then sink and losses all the connections. Then Pi find himself with the animal in a life boat. The action and the animation is not explainable with the writing. It will horrify, fascinate you with the different colors of the nature. I would recommend this movie to all your family as this shows the survival of the life in the critical conditions and discoveries of nature.

The direction of the film s very appreciated with the special effects. The movie with all the factors which makes you live the two hours in a adventure. The end of this movie is very shocking and very questionable. People around the world and their journeys can be express nothing more than this sort of movie. Thanks for reading this review.
