I am a big fan of movies which teaches, educates and inspires me for my life. I will go through a movie sections and review about it in the post below. I have read reviews about Ender’s game on the other websites and blog but those weren’t so pleasant. It’s not that movie got less than expectations in the reviews but it’s about how people think towards a movie.
I wonder many times that critics with great names has rights to say what they feel about things on which they write reviews but many times forgets that each movie has its own world. Once, they merge themselves into that world then they might able to write which is more like critic. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s profession image here but want to make clear some things.
I like to play video games, PC games, mobile games and hope that you also play some times. My question is here for you to think about this: Do you play games to have fun or to win? Of course wining is fun but not every time. If you have seen the movie then you would have understand it. There are two worlds I believe in our life which we see. The one which is real and the other is your created world. Created world could be the one where you like to have most of the fun of your life. It could be imaginary and animated by your thoughts.
Ender’s game is one of the movie which I think teaches me new things and so here I am writing a review for it. I always try to make out a message that a movie presents in two ways. Well, generally we don’t want to think apart from what we see and what actually we need to see from a movie. In this movie I have realized many things which were affected me, still affecting and would affect in the future.
When I think about the movie I always wonder that the director keep all the interesting stuff all the way till the end of the movie. The secret which is discovered in the end of the movie gives another diversion and completely separate what has been done in the beginning. I do believe that we all have secrets in us and we are still searching them in the outside world.
There is one thing I have learn from this movie that we should not always think like winner as sometimes your roll can be supporter to make someone winner. The start of the movie fight with alien is the first thing which looks very historical and surprising and ended with the win over the aliens.
As far as the winning concern over the enemy is always not depends on the reality that we assume. There could be reasons behind it and most of the times we tend to ignore them and loss the missed opportunities or can lose the hopes from other end.
One dialogue has a punch in the whole movie which I believe was a reply to colonel Graff who says “We won! Is all that matters” and Ender replied him “The way win matters”. This dialogue really has that meaning which every winner should know. I learn and amend my thinking process a bit where I always wanted to win but the ways I chose could make the difference in my life.
In the prospect of learning with the joy of special effects and animation is the ultimate experience to watch movie like Ender’s game.
