Google has been celebrating worlds most famous and outstanding person birthdays by giving the users an ultimate recognition by making amazing Google doodle’s. Today i have seen the Google doodle celebrating birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus. The doodle is the heliocentric model of the mini solar system. Here is the screen shot that will give you an idea.
Since this Google doodle of Nicolaus Copernicus is not available for the Google.com as it is available to all other countries. If you opened Google.com and not been redirected to the specific country TLD then you will not able to see this Google doodle.
Lets talk about Nicolaus Copernicus and why Google want to celebrate his birthday and the Google doodle manner. Nicolaus Copernicus was an astronomer who discover the heliocentric model in which the sun is the center point and not the earth. Nicolaus Copernicus born on 19th February 1473, where he educated himself at University of Padua. He was the mathematician and the astronomer who have rightly started discovering that the sun is at the center of the planet systems.
There are book of Nicolaus Copernicus which will give you idea about his work. Here are some famous books that he wrote: De revolutionibus orbium coelestium, On the revolutions, On The Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres and Minor works. Hence Nicolaus Copernicus was the major person to start the discoveries of the universe which is followed by the Galileo Galilei. This is why Google is celebrating his birthday with the amazing Google Doodle.
This Google doodle have sun in the center of the heliocentric model and six planets circulating around it in their orbitals. Since i am from the science stream and it make me amazed to see this little model by the Google. You can see earth rotating sun which is third in the orbitals from the sun. The best part i have seen is that they have shown moon rotating around the earth which looks so pretty and fantastic. Thanks Google for providing this amazing doodles and celebrating major individual’s birthdays.
